Conflict resolution workshops

Build real-world skills for navigating conflict with more clarity, empathy, and confidence.

The Everyday Conflict Lab knows that conflict is an everyday part of life and we need to experiment and practice to get better it. Sometimes you need a space to experiment that’s not as intense as the real thing. If you were going into a big game, or a big presentation, or a big piano recital, you would practice, experiment, reflect, practice, and refine.

Our training is designed for people who want to build real-world skills for navigating conflict with more clarity, empathy, and confidence.

We offer frameworks, tools, and guided practice to help you relate more intentionally, stay present when things get hard, and understand your own internal goings-on.

Our approach to training and workshops

  • Learning happens through doing, not just thinking.

  • Conflict is about connection. We center relationships, not winning.

  • You’re not broken. You’re learning.

  • Be curious, experiment, reflect, and be honest.

  • This is space for growth, knowing sometimes it’s uncomfortable.

  • Long-lasting, real change is slow.

Workshop: Find your conflict style

Foundational training (dry run)

Conflict is part of everyday life and we can learn to respond with more awareness. It just takes practice!

In this two-part class, you’ll explore your personal conflict style: the patterns, reactions, and values that shape how you engage with people when things get hard. It’s important to be aware of your style so you can know your own habits and learn how to respond with more flexibility and awareness.

This class is designed to help you build self-understanding and begin practicing new ways of relating—especially when the stakes feel high. You’ll have a chance to reflect, participate in group discussions, and do in-class exercises.

What you’ll learn

  • Identify your conflict style using a research-validated assessment

  • What your style means for how you respond to conflict

  • How the brain is hardwired to respond

  • To recognize conflict styles in others to build better connections

  • Practices for increasing flexibility, emotional awareness, and relational skills

Class outcomes

  • A personalized conflict style profile

  • A downloadable conflict resolution toolkit

  • A better understanding of yourself

  • More connection with your community and likeminded people
